Exploring Kolkata Through a Heritage Quiz

In connection with the Cyber Fair, Lakshmipat Singhania Academy organised a Heritage Quiz for students of Grades 6–8, aimed at fostering awareness and appreciation of Kolkata’s rich cultural and historical legacy. The event was enthusiastically hosted by Mr. Aditya Poddar, who skillfully guided the participants through a series of thought-provoking and engaging questions based on the city’s landmarks, personalities, traditions, and lesser-known historical facts. The auditorium reverberated with cheers of recognition and gasps of surprise as students confidently answered familiar questions and eagerly absorbed new information about the City of Joy.

The interactive format of the quiz kept the audience fully involved, transforming the event into a lively learning experience rather than a mere competition. The Heritage Quiz not only tested knowledge but also sparked curiosity and pride in Kolkata’s vibrant past.
